Welcome to episode twenty of The Madhappy Podcast, a conversation on mental health with Madhappy co-founders Mason Spector and Peiman Raf. In this episode, Mason and Peiman take the time to talk about Madhappy’s initiatives to acknowledge and celebrate the importance of World Mental Health Day and reflect on the excitement coming off the opening of our temporary store in New York City.
We kick things off with Peiman and Mason reflecting on their experiences in New York opening the new store on Howard Street (0:52). Peiman talks about Madhappy’s recent mental health-focused billboard campaign (5:49) and Mason touches on the company’s goal to continue fusing its mental health mission with its products (7:19). They then discuss the company’s new research grant with the University of Pennsylvania’s Positive Psychology Center (09:41).
Mason talks about feeling bored and almost too comfortable coming off of his busy and stimulating trip to New York (11:55). Later, Peiman shares his favorite moments from the Podcast so far (14:52), moving us into a conversation about the importance of finding routines that support your mental health (17:16).
Peiman and Mason wrap up the episode by introducing our new giveaway in partnership with Cash App, themed around investing in one’s wellness. Throughout the month of October, we’ll be giving out $100,000 in Bitcoin to randomly selected members of our community (21:56). To learn more about how to win, check out our Instagram post @Madhappy.
